Mirbeau Inn and Spa Weekender!
Updated: Jul 25, 2019
Heaven, I'm In Heaven...
Rather, I was...
You see, these photos were taken exactly one year ago to the day! My best friend (and my matron of honor) gave me the honor of being her maid of honor to her husband Sam last year at the inimitable Mirbeau Inn & Spa.
While they are on the road back to celebrate one year of marriage at the place they said, "I do" this weekend, I'll be chilling with her cats and reminiscing on how beautiful this place was and how lucky we are to have such a beautiful place such as Skaneateles in Upstate New York.
Check out the beauty for yourself by scoping out our 2018 archives from our stay.
Inspired by Monet's Bridge Over A Pond Of Water Lilies, Kari & Sam got married on this bridge; accompanied by her bridal party overhead and koi pond below.
We stayed at Finger Lakes Lodging during the Reenan's wedding weekend (directly across the street from Mirbeau). Before the rehearsal, the girls & I got manicures and pedicures at Mirbeau's Spa. It felt so good to get out of town for a weekender and relax with the girls in anticipation of Kari & Sam's big day!
Unfortunately for me, my autoimmune cluster got the best of me that weekend to the point where I missed her entire rehearsal dinner, but once I was up from my nearly three-hour nap, Alex & I drove further into town, took a walk around the town, and landed at the Blue Water Grill! The food was delish and the sights were so beautiful!
Alex & I got up early to grab a quick cup of coffee before I met up with the rest of the bridal group & Kari's family! Can we just bask in the glory that is this location? It is a magical kingdom. She literally got married in a freaking fairy tale. It was a one-of-a-kind weekend.
Before heading back to Rochester, Alex & I went for one last stroll around the Inn & Spa.

Happy Anniversary to my dearest Rochacha friends, Kari & Sam. Enjoy your weekend getaway back to the place where you exchanged I-Do's!
